I love this beautiful and thought provoking film about river restoration by Canadian charity Central Westcoast Forest Society   based on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. They really seem to have understood the complex mix of ecological and cultural issues tied up in the process .

Film is a wonderful medium for explaining such a complex topic and you really get a sense of the beauty and isolation of the region.   I’d love to know about any other films from around the world that show the fantastic work being done to restore our fragile rivers.
